Stephanie Sweany has been with the organization in various roles since 2017. She is a graduate of Kent State University and is a board member for the National Alumni Association. Stephanie is a graduate of the 34th Class of Leadership Stark County and is a past recipient of Twenty Under 40! and the Kent State University Alumni Advocacy Award. In her spare time, Stephanie works for Explore City Tours as a tour guide, participates in Women’s Impact and The Rotary Club of Plain Township, and operates Canton Kindness Coalition. She lives in Canton with her cats, Spooky Mulder and Chandler Bing.

Heath joined Stark County Hunger Task Force in 2015 as an accountant. Since 2017, he has been our CFO and responsible for all financial compliance, reporting, budgeting, grant financials, and accounting functions. He is a Malone University graduate (Summa Cum Laude) specializing in the fields of corporate and forensic accounting. He is an active member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Ohio Society of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners/Forensic Accountants. Heath is also an adjunct accounting professor at Malone University. Heath has served the past 31 years as a local law enforcement officer and is currently a part-time police sergeant for the Malone University Police Department.  He and his wife Julia spend their spare time volunteering accounting and fundraising services to local nonprofit dog rescues. 

Kathleen holds a Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Findlay and has worked in the social service field for over 30 years. She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and fishing with her husband. She also enjoys reading and gardening. Kathleen and her husband, Roger, reside in Stark County with their two cats, Simon and Scruff, and their dog, Juniper.

Allyson earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Kent State University in May 2020, with a minor in Creative Writing. She is the founding editor of Persephone Literary Magazine, and her writing has been featured in various media publications, including Mashed, The Whiskey Wash, Akron Life Magazine, CBR News, and others. She has worked in the marketing field since 2021 and joined our non-profit in 2025, where she leverages her expertise in content creation and storytelling to make a positive impact in her role. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family and cats.

Marquan Jenkins is the Stark County Hunger Task Force’s Driver and Program Coordinator. A graduate of McKinley High School, Marquan plays a vital role in ensuring food reaches our partner pantries and programs, helping us serve neighbors in need across Stark County.

Cory, an auditor and accountant, received a Bachelors of Arts in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration from Malone University in 2017. A Michigan native and former NCAA varsity swimmer, he participates on a variety of sports leagues, plays and collects board games, volunteers for his church’s youth group, and travels with his wife, Allison.

Matt serves as an Accounting Intern for Stark County Hunger Task Force, supporting the organization’s financial operations and recordkeeping. He graduated from Carrollton High School in May 2024 with an honors diploma and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance at Malone University. Matt hopes to obtain his CPA and build a career as a professional accountant or in the business field.
